Phone Number Management Endpoint Updates & STT Pricing Changes

Expanded Speech-to-Text Options & Pricing Update

We’ve updated our Speech-to-Text (STT) offering to better reflect the range of transcription options now available across the Voice API.

Instead of a single “Standard” and “Premium” tier model, we now support multiple STT variations designed to meet different use cases. As part of this update, the previous Premium Speech-to-Text listing has been removed from the pricing page to reflect the new, more flexible STT structure.

Phone Number Endpoint Fix

An issue affecting the Relay REST API phone number update endpoint has now been resolved.

  • Issue in api/relay/rest/phone_numbers where updates to the status callback URL could not be completed if a Relay application handler was configured.

  • Customers can now successfully update callback URLs regardless of handler configuration.

Inbound Message Log Visibility

Inbound messages sent to numbers without an assigned handler were not appearing in logs, limiting visibility for customers and Support.
Logging behavior has been restored so inbound messages to numbers without a configured handler now appear in logs as expected.

Compatibility API - FriendlyName Persistence

The optional FriendlyName field was not persisting when passed in a Create Number request via the Compatibility API. This field handling has been corrected to ensure FriendlyName values are stored properly during number provisioning.
