# Update Relay application

PUT https://%7BYour_Space_Name%7D.signalwire.com/api/fabric/resources/relay_applications/{id}
Content-Type: application/json

Changes where a Relay Application sends events or call-status updates while preserving the same Fabric resource. Update a SWML Webhook or Call Flow through its own resource endpoint instead.

#### Permissions

The API token used to authenticate must have the following scope(s) enabled to make a successful request: _Voice_, _Messaging_, _Fax_, or _Video_.

[Learn more about API scopes](/docs/platform/your-signalwire-api-space).
