Use it to inspect which waiting caller would be handled next; use [Get queue member](/docs/apis/rest/queue-members/retrieve-queue-member) for a specific member ID. This read does not dequeue or redirect the call. #### Permissions The API token used to authenticate must have the following scope(s) enabled to make a successful request: _Voice_. [Learn more about API scopes](/docs/platform/your-signalwire-api-space). Reference: https://signalwire.com/docs/apis/rest/queue-members/retrieve-next-queue-member ## Authentication - `Authorization` header (basic auth, required) — SignalWire Basic Authentication using Project ID and API Token. The client sends HTTP requests with the Authorization header containing the word Basic followed by a space and a base64-encoded string of project_id:token. The project ID will be used as the username and the API token as the password. Example: ``` Authorization: Basic base64(project_id:token) ``` ## Request ### Path parameters - `queue_id` (string, required) — Unique ID of the queue. ## Response ### 200 The request has succeeded. - `call_id` (string, required) — The call ID of the queue member. - `project_id` (string, required) — The ID of the project associated with this queue member. - `queue_id` (string, required) — The ID of the queue associated with this queue member. - `position` (integer, required) — Queue member position in the queue. - `uri` (string, required) — The URL of this queue member. - `wait_time` (integer, optional) — Wait time in seconds since the member was enqueued.
